Germany made a convincing comeback after their initial loss against France, to win 4-2 against reigning champions Portugal at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany. Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring in the 15th minute for Portugal, but Germany's dominance was evident as they forced two own goals within 4 minutes to take the lead. Kai Havertz finished off a beautiful passing play for Die Mannschaft's third before Robin Gosens headed in the fourth as they cruised towards victory.
