Italy were made to work hard for it, but they got the win defeating Austria 2-1 after extra time to advance to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Euro 2020 with all the goals being scored by substitutes. Federico Chiesa gave them the lead as picked up a pass from Leonardo Spinazzola, controlled the ball beautifully and fired a shot across the goal to score. They doubled their lead in the 105th minute, with Matteo Passina scoring as he finished off a pass from Francesco Acerbi.
