Poirot and Hastings are enjoying a Mediterranean sea cruise. As co-passengers, they have the prominent, Mr. and Mrs. Clapperton on board. The couple, although renowned, doesn’t seem amicable with each other. As the liner nears Alexandria, things don’t flow right on the ship. Someone is found murdered in a locked cabin. Poirot has no option but to come forth and take charge of the investigation. The case seems to pose a real challenge, as the one who is murdered, is an eminent personality.
