Fortunately for Reena, a social activist Akash heard her screams and brought in CWC (Child Welfare Committee) and BBA (Bachpan Bachao Andolan), and Reena was rescued. BBA later managed to trace Reena’s family and they (family members) reached Delhi to take her back, but Reena refused to go with them. She had by now made her mind that she will stay in a NGO.
