The Kashyaps, a seemingly modern family, are about to face their biggest challenge. Meet Meher Kashyap, the ideal daughter who idolizes her parents' story but is about to be deeply disappointed when she breaks the news about her love life to them. Faiza and Shekhar, proud parents of Meher and Sahir, have contrasting personalities. While Faiza is outspoken and somewhat judgmental, Shekhar is the cool dad who supports his daughter's choices. Sahir, the youngest Kashyap, seems like the quintessential gaming-obsessed younger brother, but does have his moments of solidarity with Meher. Despite their love-hate relationship, Sahir secretly admires Meher for her achievements. Kedarnath, Shekhar's father, is a patriarch who resists change. And then there's Gaurav, Meher's boyfriend, who is sweet, supportive, and hardworking, but his occupation as a cab driver causes concern for the Kashyaps.When Meher reveals her relationship with Gaurav, her family is taken by a complete surprise. While Sahir is happy for his sister, Faiza and Shekhar's modern mindset is challenged due to Gaurav's profession.
