Apoorva comes to Vijay's repair shop to get her memory card fixed but he refuses to help her. In the meantime, Apoorva notices something and hides inside Vijay's shop. A few men enquire about Apoorva but Vijay sends them away. Realising the intensity of the situation, Vijay agrees to help her. Unfortunately, the same men spot her and take her away with them. Once she reaches home, her family asks her to get married against her will.

Apoorva is taken aback when she learns that her engagement has been finalized against her will. She shows her disagreement and tries talking to Bhausaheb who has made this decision but fails to change his mind. Helpless, she sits in her room and cries her heart out. Vijay is hired to get the house decorated for the engagement. When she sees Apoorva crying in her room, he tries to help.

When Vijay realizes how important it is for Apoorva to get the memory card restored, he rushes to his shop to fix it. While Apoorva is away shopping with her mother, she makes an excuse and leaves for Vijay's shop. While they are trying to get the work done, a riot breaks out and Vijay is forced to shut down his shop. Vijay's father who is concerned about his son stuck in the riot goes to save him and is shocked to spot him with a girl.

Vijay's grandfather tries to protect Apoorva from Bhausaheb but fails. Apoorva shares her misery with her friend and she suggests her to run away from her house. Her brother asks her to do the same. After Vijay gives Apoorva her memory card, she shows her family a video of her fiance with another girl in bed. Even after watching the video, her family isn't ready to change their mind.

Apoorva packs her bags and runs away from her house. Vijay helps her to get to the bus station but unfortunately, they do not find any bus going to Mumbai anytime soon. When Vijay suggests Apoorva that he waits with her until she finds something, she arrogantly asks him to go away. Later in the night, a few drunkards chase her but Vijay comes to save her at the right time.

Vijay secretly takes some food for Apoorva to eat while his mother is away. She finds the food extremely spicy and starts panting which Vijay's mother hears. When she comes to Vijay's room to check, he hides Apoorva behind the door. Meanwhile, at Apoorva's house, Bhausaheb is trying his best to hunt down Apoorva.

Vijay's sister catches Apoorva in Vijay's room and teases him. He explains her the entire story and asks her to keep it a secret. While Vijay has his breakfast with his family, he is shocked to see Apoorva's picture in the newspaper. Later, Apoorva is adamant about leaving for Mumbai and injures herself while trying to jump a wall. Vijay makes sure her wound is protected.

After Vijay's family find out that Apoorva has been staying in Vijay's room since the previous night, they talk to her to make things clear. Vijay's grandfather takes up the responsibility to make sure she reaches Mumbai safely. When Apoorva calls her friend, she tells her that the job she had applied for has been given to someone else and that she is going to be out for town for a couple of days. While Apoorva is on the call, Bhausaheb gets her phone traced.

After Apoorva refuses to go back to her house, her parents come to convince her. She agrees to get engaged to Ankush but puts forth a few conditions. Later, she wears a band-aid on her left ring finger to avoid wearing the ring on that hand. Once she gets engaged, Bhausaheb announces her wedding to be held after seven months. Vijay comes to her house to return her bags when Apoorva asks him to be friends with her.
