Anbu and the Boy have unique problems of their own. Whenever the Boy hears someone expressing a desire, he feels the urge to destroy the object of the desire. Anbu, on the other hand, is a part of a nine-member pickpocket gang and seems to always be shrouded in bad luck.
When a housewife, who is destructive and eager to pick fights, expresses a desire to kill herself in front of the Boy, he faces the urge to stop her. Meanwhile, Anbu works with her gang on a series of thefts in a chain of restaurants.
Anbu and the Boy find themselves in the same hospital, where an old man, refusing to change his will at his son's behest, is undergoing a heart transplant.
Anbu and the gang are forced by a police constable to steal a revolver belonging to Vakkil, a pimp who experiences random bursts of extreme violence. Meanwhile, the Boy, who walks and grooms Vakkil's dog, must help Vakkil write a love letter to a mystery woman.
After stealing Vakkil's revolver, Anbu's gang faces a rift, and a few members, unhappy with how they are treated, takes up a job against their leader's wishes. Meanwhile, the Boy wants to seek out Anbu but does not have the resources to do so.
Sparks fly when Anbu and the Boy meet to test the limits of their bizarre connection and end up stealing a bus conductor's purse successfully. They come to the realisation they are a tremendous team together.
Anbu decides to fix the effects of her failure before the gang leader’s return and part of the gang participates in this fixing job. Anbu then asks the Boy to stay away.
Anbu and the Boy along with one other gang member set out to steal a film script from a production house. Meanwhile, the widening rift in the pickpocket gang leads to a serious double cross - a heist in their own home.
