Mahishasura's henchmen ambush the Devis and mistreat them. The Asuras tell the Devis that they must entertain Mahishasura.

Ganesh baits Mahishasura out of the palace while protecting the Devis. The Devtas decide to send their pets to fend off Mahishasura's attacks.

Nandi and Mahishasura lock horns in a fierce battle. Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu themselves come forth to punish Mahishasura.

Ganesh pacifies an enraged Parvati by evoking the mother in her. Parvati holds Mahadev responsible for giving a boon to Mahishasura.
