Samba gives birth to an iron pestle. King Ugrasena powders the pestle and throws away the powder in the sea. Dhritarashtra and Gandhari tell Pandava that they have decided to leave their palace for Vanaprastha.
Pandavas learns that Gandhari and Dhritarashtra have perished in a forest fire. Lord Krishna advises Pandavas to not grieve for the dead. Yudhishthira declares Parikshit as his successor to the throne of Hastinapur.
Samba's friends offer him a glass of liquor. Lord Krishna shouts at his son for being irresponsible towards his duties. Samba's family reminds him that his behaviour would bring him serious difficulties in the near future.
In the presence of Lord Krishna, Samba and his family get into an argument, which ultimately leads to fight. Knowing that the Yadava's hour of destruction has arrived, Lord Krishna does not try to stop the fight.
Lord Krishna informs Arjun that it is the time for him to leave the world. He reminds Arjun that his clan was destroyed due to Gandhari's curse.
The five Pandavas and Draupadi decide to renounce the world. They head towards Himalaya which would further lead them to the Heaven.
Pandavas and Draupadi head towards Himalaya as they plan to renounce the world. Draupadi and the four younger Pandavas fall down on the way to the heaven and die.
