The Public Will Decide

Krishnadevraya tells Rama to invite Gopal Krishnan to his state consecration ceremony. Gopal arrives in the court and the King wishes to reward him. Gopal asks for either Tathacharya or Rama to accompany him to the woods. With a heavy heart, Krishnadevraya agrees. Parallelly, both are tense, as the King has decided to allow the public to vote and make the decision. Later, Rama requests the people of Vijaynagar to vote for Tathacharya, as he wishes to leave with Gopal. Why is Rama promoting the rival?
