After confessing about her new marriage in court, Daljeet expresses her gratitude to Rajeev for helping her during these difficult times. Shakti, skeptical about this marriage, visits Rajeev's house and says he will be back in the evening. Rajeev now has to set everything up to defend himself from Shakti's schemes.

Rajeev discovers that it was Jahnvi’s mistake that cost Daljeet’s husband his life. Rajeev, guilt-ridden, and to protect Daljeet's children, decides to get married. Though reluctantly, Daljeet agrees for a court marriage.

Shakti's schemes land Rajeev and Daljeet in more trouble when they find themselves locked in a hotel room, and Shakti arrives there with the police. The next day in court, Shakti alleges that Daljeet is in a relationship with Rajeev, but Daljeet reveals something more shocking.

Pratap Ratan tries to defend his grandson in front of his teachers and Daljeet does the same for her son. Later, when Balwinder and Twinkle are playing football in the garden, their chachu comes there. Daljeet gets worried when she can't find her kids.

Everyone steps in to save Rajeev after Dadaji finds the bottles of beer. Rajeev has to reveal the truth and call Daljeet so Dadaji can speak to her. The next morning, Shakti and Daljeet begin their trial for the custody of the children.

Daljeet calls Rajeev to check whether the evidence they found is safe or not. Later, Rajeev realizes that his bag with the beer bottles and the pen drive is missing and starts looking for it. Everyone in Rajeev's family assumes that Rajeev has started drinking.

Rajeev insists on helping Daljeet in finding pieces of evidence that would incriminate Shakti. They decide to investigate the wine shop to find out who bought those bottles. However, Rajeev gets caught while visiting the wine shop.

After Daljeet's brother-in-law sets up a scene at her house with her children, the police arrive. But, Daljeet's hands are tied after the police witnesses the condition of her children without a father. Later, Rajeev finds Daljeet's bracelet on the footrest of his scooter.

After Rajeev opens a legal document, thinking it is addressed to the bank, he finds out that Daljeet's in-laws want her children's custody. Rajeev asks a favour from a top lawyer to help her with the case. At the same time, Daljeet's brother-in-law visits her children and tries to get in their good books by showering them with gifts.
