Mayasur's Plan

Durga Mata narrates the story of Devi Vinta and Devi Kadru to Ganesh and Kartikeya. While Devi Vinta was humble, Devi Kadru was self-centered. But, Mayasur narrates a different story and portrays Devi Vinta as being the one who was self-centered. Devi Vinta and Devi Kadru, both wished for children, but Devi Kadru's children turned out to be strikingly different from Devi Vinta's.
