Resolute Savitri’s Smart Move

Savitri moves heaven and Earth to have her husband back. Contrary to Yamraj’s opinion, she climbs the Dev hill with absolute ease. Yamraj blesses Savitri saying that Satyavaan’s parents will gain sight and their throne will be returned to them. However, when Savitri crosses Brahmalok, Yamraj gives her a third boon. Right then, Savitri is swift to respond by saying that she cannot have the children without her husband, which compels Yamraj to return Satyavaan’s life.
