Savitri Versus Yamraaj

Though hesitant at first, Savitri’s parents allow her to marry Satyavaan, but with her marriage, comes a great tragedy. Satyavaan is on the brink of death, so to save him, Savitri keeps a three days’ fast on Mother Gayatri’s suggestion. Yamraaj learns of this. Determined to foil her attempts, he sends Yamdoots to disrupt her ritual, but her purity and love foil their plan instead. Eventually, irked with his Yamdoots’ failure, Yamraaj decides to take matters into his own hands.
