Lankan skipper Dimuth Karunaratne played an innings worthy of a captain as he dominated proceedings of play in the first test match against Bangladesh, sharing a 345-run stand with Dhananjaya de Silva as the duo carried the hosts past the 500-run mark in the second innings.
