Bowlers did well in the first innings to restrict England to a sub-par total of 142/6, where Sneh Rana alone picked up three wickets. Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana started the chase with a bang, and England bowlers had no answers in the powerplay before Ecclestone chipped out Shafali. Mandhana continued her powerful strokeplay and helped India cross the finishing line with over three overs to spare.
